Tekuno

Tekuno is founded by Catherine Jue. It is a San Francisco based company focused on the quiet, expansive breadth of Japanese tea & the exquisite rituals inspired by traditional tea ceremony. Tekuno source uniquely expressive and rare teas discovered through direct relationships with small-scale Japanese producers - working to represent the nuances of single origin tea while inviting all to cultivate meaningful practices around its preparation, ritual and enjoyment.

Shared Cultures

Shared Cultures is a small batch producer in San Francisco specializing in using koji, an ancient fungi, to create modern fermented food products. Inspired by traditional fermentation methods, wild foraged mushrooms, and the bounty of Northern California. They are creating newly imagined, farm-to-ferment misos, shoyus, and umami seasonings using the magic of koji. Kevin is a long time childhood friend of Chef David and they have constantly supported one another throughout their lives.
